Dr. Maqsood Ahmad
Director (Headquarters)
Ph.D. (Soil Science/ Agricultural Technology) from Okayama University, Japan. He possesses about 28 years’ field experience in participatory irrigation management, improvement of conveyance, application, and water use efficiencies at farm level for efficient utilization of water and non-water inputs to maximize yield of all cultivated crops through high efficiency irrigation. He started his service career as Assistant Research Officer, Institute of Soil Fertility (Research) Punjab, Bahawalpur. He joined Water Management Wing of Agriculture Department as Water Management Specialist and served at various positions such as Assistant Director Technical, Soil Scientist, Deputy Project Director (GTC-CADP-I), Deputy Director (Hqrs.), Director, Water Management Training Institute and Deputy Project Director (Watercourses), PIPIP. He visited Japan, China, Afghanistan, and Philippines for exchange of experience regarding identification, acquisition, and technology transfer regarding on farm water management for irrigated and barani areas. 
       
   

Dr. Habib Ullah Habib
Director, Water Management Training Institute
Ph.D. (Plant Breeding & Genetics) from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. He possesses about 28 years’ field experience in participatory irrigation management, improvement of conveyance, application, and water use efficiencies at farm level for efficient utilization of water and non-water inputs to maximize yield of all cultivated crops through high efficiency irrigation. He started his service career as Agricultural Officer, OFWM, Ahmedpur East, Bahawalpur during 991 and also served at various positions such as Community Development Officer, Assistant Agronomist, Deputy District Officer, District Officer, Executive District Officer (Agriculture).

       
   

Asif Iqbal
Deputy Project Director (HEIS & LASER)
M.Sc. (Water Engineering and Management) from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand. He posses about 23 years field experience in participatory irrigation management, improvement in conveyance application and water use efficiencies at farm level for efficient utilization of water and non-water inputs to maximize crop yield through high efficiency irrigation. He started his carrier as Water Management Officer in Water Management wing of Agriculture Department in 1996 and served farming community at varous positions such as  Assistant Agricultural Engineer, Deputy District Officer (WM), Executive District Officer (Agriculture) and Director Agriculture (OFWM). He visited Thailand for his educational excellence.

       
   

Matlub Elahi
Deputy Project Director (Watercourses)
MSc. (Hons.) in Agricultural Economics from University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He possesses about 29 years’ dynamic experience in OFWM field activities and managerial functions at OFWM Headquarters. He started his service career as Agricultural Officer in Water Management Wing of Agriculture Department during 1990 and served at various key positions such as Assistant Director Technical, Publicity Officer, Assistant Agronomist, Agricultural Economist, Deputy Director (A&A), Deputy Director (M&E)  and Deputy Project Director (Watercourses), PIPIP. He has got trainings about Project Planning, Preparation, Appraisal, Implication, Monitoring & Evaluation and Procurement Practices under World Bank funded projects from well reputed National (MPDD) and International institutes/ agencies (World Bank).
